Tree Pose (Vrikshasana)

How to Perform Tree Pose:
- Begin standing tall in Mountain Pose (Tadasana)
- Shift your weight onto your left foot
- Bring the sole of your right foot to the inner left thigh, toes pointing down
- Press the foot into the thigh and the thigh into the foot
- Bring your hands to the heart center in prayer position or extend them overhead
- Find a focal point to help with balance
- Hold for 30 seconds to a minute, then switch sides
